Terms of Service

DIYBlueprintPro (diy-blueprint-pro.com) is a product of Aperture Forge LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the service you agree to these terms. Last updated August 11, 2026.

The service

DIYBlueprintPro is a software application that generates material lists, cut lists, shopping lists, cost estimates, permit information, and step-by-step build guides from the dimensions and options you enter. Output is produced by algorithms, calculators, and (where indicated) AI-assisted generation. It is not reviewed, approved, or delivered by a human estimator, engineer, or builder before it reaches you. Some features require a paid plan. The service is provided solely for your personal or commercial building projects.

No human-driven services — contractor matching is a referral platform only

DIYBlueprintPro does not build, install, or perform any construction work. Any contractor or pro you connect with through the app — including via “Find a Contractor”, “Hire a Pro”, or lead matching — is an independent third party, not an employee, agent, or subcontractor of Aperture Forge LLC. We do not vet, guarantee, supervise, or insure their work. You are responsible for interviewing, contracting with, and verifying any pro you choose to hire.

Customer support messages may be answered by a real person, but support responses are limited to account, billing, and product-help questions. They do not constitute building, engineering, legal, or code-compliance advice.

Estimates only — no professional advice

All quantities, cut dimensions, prices, contractor comparisons, and permit results are estimates only. They are generated automatically and are not a quote, a bid, an engineering drawing, or legal or code compliance advice.

You are responsible for verifying every measurement, quantity, price, and permit requirement with your own measurements, local suppliers, your building department, and where appropriate a licensed professional before you buy materials or build. Neither Aperture Forge LLC is liable for materials wasted due to sizing inaccuracies.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the service, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Authority and eligibility

If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you are an individual, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the service.

Accounts and credentials

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it updated. You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach. We are not liable for losses from compromised credentials you failed to safeguard.

Licence and restrictions

Subject to these terms and your payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service for your own building projects during your subscription term.

You agree that you will not:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code;
  • resell, sublicense, redistribute, or bulk-export the service or its outputs as a competing product;
  • attempt to bypass paid features, rate limits, usage caps, or access controls;
  • use the service in any unlawful manner or in violation of these terms, including fraud, spam, or infringement of another party's intellectual property;
  • introduce malware, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or otherwise interfere with its security or operation.

Your content and our content

You retain ownership of the project data you enter and the outputs generated for your projects, and you may use them for your own personal or commercial building work. We retain all rights in the software, calculators, illustrations, templates, pricing models, and brand. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your data solely to operate and provide the service to you.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on the interval shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with advance notice for future billing periods.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller Paddle and are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

Merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Service level

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use rules. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; we will retain your data for a reasonable export window after which it may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

We retain all right, title, and interest in the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, calculators, illustrations, templates, and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you except the limited licence stated above.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Neither Aperture Forge LLC is liable for wasted materials, construction defects, permit denials, project delays, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not exclude liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aperture Forge LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where practical.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Aperture Forge LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State for any dispute arising from these terms or the service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property.

Assignment and force majeure

You may not assign these terms or your account without our consent. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, or failures of third-party providers.
